The DEI (didn’t earn it) hires have unleashed!! The Hypocrisy Is Loud: Pete Hegseth and the Signal Text Leak
It’s hard to ignore the deafening silence from the right-wing media machine in the wake of the Signal text leaks involving Pete Hegseth. Once again, we’re witnessing the kind of gross incompetence and ethical failure that would’ve been front-page news for weeks—had it come from anyone but their own ranks.
Hegseth, a Fox News contributor and staunch Trump loyalist, has become a poster child for the very hypocrisy his party claimed to condemn. Remember the endless attacks on Hillary Clinton over her use of a private email server? “Lock her up” became the battle cry of a movement obsessed with security and transparency—until those standards had to be applied to themselves.
Now, we find out that Hegseth was part of a highly sensitive exchange involving Signal, a supposedly secure platform, which has been compromised. Whether it was arrogance or sheer incompetence, the end result is the same: a breach of trust and a major national security concern.
And where is the outrage? Where is the accountability? Trump and his allies created a culture of impunity, and Hegseth’s actions are a symptom of that deeper rot. When loyalty to a man becomes more important than loyalty to the Constitution, this is what we get—backroom deals, reckless behavior, and dangerous double standards.
This isn’t about party politics. It’s about integrity. And it’s time we call it what it is: corruption, plain and simple.
